the delhi studio: a 1970s concrete structure of arches in a private forest

the studio is not neutral. it is an active condition within the work.

the delhi studio sits within a private forest and occupies a 1970s structure treated as a unified concrete field. light, temperature, and environmental exposure are not controlled out - they are embedded in the making.

a secondary studio in kolkata supports the system: material development, research, coordination, and a reading room.

material elements within the space - rose and lotus silk curtains, algae foam seating - extend the logic of the work into the environment. the studio also functions as a site for viewings, installations, screenings, and presentations, where objects are encountered within the same conditions in which they were made.
